The Role

Alchemy Films is looking for a self-motivated and proactive sales executive to join our team. Reporting to the Sales Manager and Business Partners, you will be responsible for supporting the sales function of the business within a growing team. It’s an ideal role for someone who’s keen to progress in an organisation whilst being supported to elevate their career in sales.

The successful candidate will be responsible for making connections with new business prospects directly, along with forging relationships with creative agencies. You’ll be targeting Marketing, HR and Creative professionals, so a basic understanding of the requirements and desires of these departments within larger organisations would be beneficial. There will be strong lines of communication daily, however you’ll need to be confident and content to work both independently and as part of the wider team.

Requirements

  • Full UK driving license

  • You are located within a commutable distance of our studios in Derbyshire (1-2 days per week)

  • An honest professional, who cares as much about getting the solution right for the client as making the sale

  • High level of resilience and the ability to handle rejection well

  • A great sense of self-motivation, ambition and determination

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to flourish in a creative industry

  • Compelling communicator and presenter

  • Confident and personable individual

  • Good self-management skills and ability to prioritise tasks effectively

  • Demonstrable record in a sales role in a service based B2B field, ideally for a creative service provider

  • Ambition to progress and move into a more senior role as the team grows

Responsibilities

  • Data building, scraping, cleansing, enhancing: data profiling activities

  • Direct marketing activities, telemarketing, email and LinkedIn outreach

  • Using tools such as Hubspot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator or other CRM systems and email marketing platforms to manage pipeline and email campaigns

  • Making appointments, scheduling meetings, diary management & logistical planning

  • Generating and nurturing leads, efficient pipeline management

  • Supporting the Sales Manager both online and in person at pitches and creds meetings when necessary

  • Working with our in-house producer to price services that are appropriate for the client when needed

  • Attending expos, conferences and networking events across the UK and (potentially) internationally

  • Reporting stats and achieving set KPI’s on a weekly / monthly / annual basis

Salary

Starting salary of £22,000 (plus OTE)
